Shooting onboard privately owned Motor and Sail Super yachts - Latitude, Savannah, Spirit and Antara, Scientific research vessel Nautilus and Surf safari boat Indosurfaris through out the Arctic, the Galapagos, Cocos Island, Croatia, Canada and Indonesia!

Deep Sea Expedition to 1500m onboard R/v Falkor
Part 1 : An introduction into our 21 day science research expedition onboard 82m R/v Falkor 100 miles off the coast of Oregon, USA. A group of 20 scientist and 20 crew have come from all around the world to join the Falkor for 3 weeks to study, sample, and survey the deep sea methane seeps 850-1500m down on the ocean floor.

Kamalaya - Denison Yachting - Miami Yacht Show 2018

Back again shooting a walk around with Alex Clarke and Denison Yachting this time onboard KAMALAYA, the 55-meter (180') Dutch superyacht at the Miami Yacht show. With an adventurous Owner and crew, she has been as far north as the Arctic Circle and Svalbard, as well as making the most of off-the-beaten track hideways in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

Marshall, who used the aesthetic themes to create a lusciously contemporary luxury yacht. Shot in the beautiful Bahamas, heres what its like to spend a day on a yacht like this!
Gene Machine - Denison Yachting + Amels + Flibs 2018

Denison Yachting has become synonymous with their high end Yacht Walkthrough videos online and I was fortunate enough to be asked by them, and Amels yacht builders, to shoot and create a “Highlights/Walk through” video onboard the 55m Amels M/y Gene Machine whilst at the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Gene Machine is an iconic yacht in the industry for the some of the far out cruising they have done and toys they boast onboard. It was a really fun and new type of shoot for me, I hope to do more in the future! Thank you to Denison, Amels and the Captain and crew onboard for this great opportunity!

7 epic days onboard Indosurfaris Surf + Spearfishing charter boat around Sumba Island in Indonesia. The ultimate way to surf and explore these beautiful islands! I have always wanted to make a surf focused movie, so it was absolute blast to shoot this!

Exploring the deep sea

A life changing 16 days spent off the pacific coast of British Columbia contracted out by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) onboard the famous explorer vessel Nautilus. During this time I was responsible for documenting the team of scientists, ROV pilots and crew exploring, sampling and mapping the off shore sea mounts area. It was an honor to be part of such a team and can't wait for my next expedition like this! This is a short "Ad" type video I made for DFO while onboard! It was also great to work alongside Oceana Canada, Ocean Networks Canada and the Haida Nations.

What an incredible 2 week guest-shoot sailing up the coast of Croatia on the 46m sail yacht Antara! I haven’t spent a ton of time in the med so I was really excited for this one! We started the journey north from a small port near Dubrovnik. We had brilliant weather throughout, taking advantage of all the beautiful bays and small villages along the way. It was an absolute treat to have done it in such style and with such amazing guests and crew onboard. The shoot went perfect, tons of beautiful photos shared, and I presented a 20 minute movie on the final night of the trip. It was a very peaceful, relaxing trip filled with great memories, food and laughter. I’m very happy with the delivered product and so were they! With this 1 minute public version, I really wanted to flex some creativity. I experimented with a lot of new things: Angles, masking, cuts, overlays, speed ramping and transitions, so I hope you enjoy it!

Cocos island onboard Superyacht spirit

I was hired to film onboard the beautiful 55m Amels M/y Spirit sailing from Costa Rica to Cocos Island for a week. It was an absolute blast, packed with amazing shark diving, and the most incredible experience of our lives, swimming with a + 2000 dolphin super pod in the middle of the pacific! I hope you love this public version as much as I do!
“Shelton was fantastic to have on board and his video work was ‘mind-blowing’ for our guests! They could not believe how professional and well done the video turned out with such very little editing time. Yet he worked diligently to not only capture the footage during the day and then spend countless hours at night editing photos to give to the guests daily as well as to produce the video for the end of the trip.
The trip consisted of numerous hikes and excursions but mostly diving 2-3 dives per day.
I would highly recommend this service for any owner or captain. While we have multiple deck crew with drone and GoPros that know how to edit, to be able to have someone on board dedicated only to capturing the guests time with us on their holiday really made their trip extra special.
I hope we can have Luxury Yacht Films return to Spirit one day again soon.

Galapagos Charter Yacht passion

I was fortunate enough to spend an incredible 3 weeks cruising to every corner of the archipelago onboard the 48m charter M/y Passion. Over that time, I filmed and photographed 3 guest trips, of which each were given their own custom movie. This was the final trip onboard, charted by a group of professional photographers, hollywood film producers, and sport tv presenters. Please enjoy this wildlife packed FULL version below!

Join the crew of the 45m luxury motor yacht Latitude as they voyage the icy, rugged waters of the Norwegian Arctic, sailing beyond historic limits, venturing to the top of the world towards the North Pole. After multiple Arctic seasons earning their salt, in the summer of 2016, the crew embarked on their most extreme adventure yet, an attempt to reach a record highest latitude.
In this remote corner of the world, wildlife still thrives. The crew shared time with polar bears, some of the world's largest whales, bathing walrus, herds of reindeer, and a particularly curious litter of Arctic foxes, to mention but a few of their encounters. The 16 sailors on board -a cosmopolitan crew from all walks of life, drawn together by their adventurous spirits- explored by foot, watercraft, and air, filming the ice bergs, glaciers, and spectacular aurora borealis.
